Volleyball Recap: Trona Takes a Loss

Trona lost against Lee Vining back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tornadoes took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

While Trona had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-20, 20-25.

Trona has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-1 record this season. As for Lee Vining, the win snapped their losing streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 2-9 record.

Coming up, Trona is taking a road trip to take on Immanuel Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lee Vining, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Owens Valley on the 29th.
