Softball Recap: Temple Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Temple, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against the Killeen Kangaroos on Tuesday as they made off with an 18-2 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-0 back in March.

Kaegan Yepma was a standout: she scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Lilliana Gandara was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Temple's victory bumped their record up to 11-9-1. As for Killeen, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-19.

Temple wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-3 win against Bryan on the 11th. As for Killeen, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 29-0 defeat against Midway on the 11th.
