Lindy Bates turned in nothing short of a gem on Saturday, tossing seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her seventh in a row with two or fewer walks. This year, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 1.40 over 35 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.550/0.617/1.125 with 17 runs.

Tolono Unity's road trip will continue as they head out to face Freeburg at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bates had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in June of 2022 9-0.
