It was a good run, but Aberdeen Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 58-28 defeat at the hands of the Groton Tigers. The Knights were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 55 points in the three matchups prior), but the Tigers' defense proved too tough.

Aberdeen Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Groton, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Aberdeen Christian nor Groton have any future games scheduled.
