Football Game Preview: Jefferson Saints vs. Platte Valley Broncos + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Jefferson will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will venture away from home to challenge the Platte Valley Broncos at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Jefferson has given up an average of 30.4 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Jefferson is headed into Saturday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They fell 38-26 to The Pinnacle. On the bright side, the 26- point performance marked the Saints' highest-scoring game to date.

Despite the defeat, Jefferson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Melaki Moore Moore threw for 196 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground.

Meanwhile, Platte Valley got themselves on the board against Estes Park on Friday, but Estes Park never followed suit. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 46-0 victory over the Bobcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Broncos.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Platte Valley, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Jefferson was dealt a bruising 54-8 defeat at the hands of Platte Valley when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Saints were down 41-0.
