Basketball Recap: Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool was the 37-35 winner over Southern Missouri RUSH when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Mavericks were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 49-48 to Southern Missouri RUSH. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Mavericks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Livie Propst, who shot 45% from the field on her way to 11 points and eight steals. With that strong performance, Propst is now averaging an impressive 2.5 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Taylor Dorr, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Southern Missouri RUSH, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

As of now, neither Mid-Missouri HomeSchool nor Southern Missouri RUSH have any future games scheduled.
