Basketball Recap: Washington Piles Up the Points Against Scarborough

Washington put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Scarborough Spartans 100-28. That looming 100-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Washington was led to victory by Braylon Pete and Larry Butler. Pete posted 22 points along with five assists and four steals, while Butler dropped a double-double with 12 points and 20 boards. With that strong performance, Butler is now averaging an impressive 10 rebounds per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Donovan Jackson, who had nine assists and four steals.

Washington's record is now 6-0. As for Scarborough, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Washington will venture away from home to challenge Texas City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scarborough, they will host Furr at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
