Baseball Recap: Mid-Prairie Takes a Loss

Mid-Prairie lost against Bettendorf on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Hawks lost 9-2 to the Bulldogs. The Golden Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mid-Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Bettendorf, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mid-Prairie will welcome Durant at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Golden Hawks 4.1, the Wildcats 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Bettendorf, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Davenport West at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
