Volleyball Recap: Harding Comes Up Short

Harding was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Avon Eagles, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-9, 25-6.

Avon can attribute much of their success to Madison Demmerle, who had five digs and two aces. Kara Hricovec also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Harding's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Avon, their win was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-1.

Harding does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Avon, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against North at 5:00 p.m.
