Basketball Recap: Greensboro Comes Up Short

Greensboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 47-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sumter Central Jaguars. The Raiders lost against the Jaguars in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 66-32 score last time.

Greensboro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Sumter Central, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Hale County the next time they take the court. Greensboro will head out to face Hale County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Sumter Central will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
