Volleyball Game Preview: Dwyer Panthers vs. Jupiter Warriors

Dwyer is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Jupiter is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Panthers will welcome the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Dwyer is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since September 9th on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Seminole Ridge 3-2.

Dwyer had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 22-25, 25-20, 25-11, 15-5.

Dwyer found their leader in sophomore Payton Lotz, who had 19 digs and four assists.

Meanwhile, Jupiter got the win against Suncoast on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21, 25-12.

Dwyer's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Jupiter, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4.

Dwyer might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Jupiter when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Warriors' Macy Mcamis, who had 25 digs and five aces.
