Daniel Boone put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones 14-4. That's more bragging rights for the Trailblazers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Daniel Boone got a massive performance out of Clay Rowland, who went 2-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Ben Stevens, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Rowland wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Daniel Boone kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Daniel Boone pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Elizabethton, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Daniel Boone will host Concord Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Elizabethton, they will face off against Dobyns-Bennett at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
