Berea had lost four straight, but after bumping their record up to 3-4 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Model Patriots, sneaking past 3-2. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 10-9 defeat the last time these two teams met.
