Volleyball Recap: Arcanum Victorious + How To Watch

Arcanum won the last time they faced Newton Local and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Trojans walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 23-25, 25-20, 25-14.

Grace Fry went supernova, getting nine digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven contests.

Despite the loss, Newton Local saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Laila Avila had 11 digs. Vivien Bowser also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Arcanum's win bumped their record up to 17-4. As for Newton Local, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arcanum will host Brookville at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Newton Local, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Houston at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
