Football Game Preview: Rowland Raiders vs. Chaffey Tigers + How To Watch

For the first time this season, Rowland will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Chaffey Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Rowland is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Rowland strolled past Pioneer with points to spare, taking the game 36-21.

CJ Carrillo produced another solid effort rushing for 127 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 14 carries, while also picking up 62 receiving yards and one TD. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 52 yards. Jose Valadez was another key player, throwing for 183 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.

Meanwhile, Chaffey was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Friday as they fell 28-24 to Rim of the World.

Although Chaffey took the loss, they still got scores from Justin Alcantara, Carlos Vasquez, and Andrew Rodriguez.

Chaffey's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4. As for Rowland, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.
