Volleyball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Poolville

Poolville saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Victory Christian Academy Patriots.

While Poolville won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Victory Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Regan Kayser, who had 13 digs.

Poolville pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Victory Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4-2 record this season.

Victory Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Midway on the 21st. Hopefully Poolville paid attention to the Patriots' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Patriots at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
