Football Game Preview: Saxony Lutheran Crusaders vs. Hayti Indians

After each having a week off, the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders and the Hayti Indians will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Saxony Lutheran put up the most points they have all season on Friday. Everything went their way against Red Bud as they made off with a 55-29 win. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won three contests by 26 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Hayti got themselves on the board against Malden on Friday, but Malden never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Green Wave 44-0. That looming 44-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Hayti and bumps their season record up to 4-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 14 points in those games. As for Saxony Lutheran, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
