Softball Game Preview: Hope Bobcats vs. Prescott Curley Wolves

The Hope Bobcats will head out to face off against the Prescott Curley Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Prescott took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Hope, who comes in off a win.

Hope took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Arkansas, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Hope sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over Arkansas on Monday. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, Prescott came up short against Harmony Grove on Friday and fell 14-11.

Prescott now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Hope, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Hope came out on top in a nail-biter against Prescott when the teams last played last Monday, sneaking past 11-9. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hope since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
