Football Recap: Chester Skates Past Varsity Opponent with Ease

Chester got themselves on the board against Varsity Opponent on Monday, but Varsity Opponent never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Varsity Opponent 38-0. That looming 38-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Clippers yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chester to victory, but perhaps none more so than Imani Dorsey, who picked up 32 receiving yards and two TDs. Jaliah Ransom was another key passer, throwing for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Another reason for the win was Chester's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Za'Kera Day. Chloe Knox got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Chester's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Chester will be paying especially close attention to Varsity Opponent's match: after Varsity Opponent face off against West Creek, they'll take on Chester again at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
