After a string of ten wins, Moore Catholic's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were beaten by the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings 79-49. The matchup marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Mavericks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emma Bruno-Dunn, who posted 11 points and six boards. Brianna Caliri was another key player, putting up 12 points and five rebounds.

Moore Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 17-2. As for St. Joseph-by-the-Sea, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.
