Mantachie skates past Tremont with ease

Recap: Mantachie Mustangs vs. Tremont Eagles
Even though the Mantachie Mustangs have not done well against the Tremont Eagles recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Mantachie blew past Tremont 55-27 on the road. That looming 55-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Mantachie yet this season.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caleb Neal, who scored six points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Ruffin, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
The win (which was Mantachie's third in a row) raised their record to 10-13. As for Tremont, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-20.
Mantachie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tremont, they and Wheeler will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Wheeler's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
