Basketball Recap: Green City Skates Past Bevier with Ease

Green City waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Bevier Wildcats, posting a 60-21 win. The Gophers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Jaryn Hatcher was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 19 games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lily Crist, who went 6-for-10 en route to 16 points and four steals.

Green City's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.7 points. As for Bevier, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
