Softball Recap: Moon Valley Comes Up Short

Moon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 19-3 to the Marcos de Niza Padres.

Moon Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was KaLani Knighton, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Moon Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Marcos de Niza, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Looking ahead, Moon Valley will square off against Greenway at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Demons have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Marcos de Niza, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 19-2 loss against Coconino on the 7th.
