Baseball Game Preview: Orange Tornadoes vs. Hillside Comets

Orange is 1-7 against Hillside since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Tornadoes will square off against the Comets at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Orange turned things around against North Star Academy on Monday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over North Star Academy.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hillside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over North Star Academy on Tuesday. The Comets haven't had any issues with North Star Academy recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Hillside's record now sits at 10-6. As for Orange, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Orange might still be hurting after the 12-4 loss they got from Hillside in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Tornadoes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
