Basketball Recap: Bishop Fenwick Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Tri-Village

On Wednesday, the Bishop Fenwick Falcons didn't have too much trouble with the Tri-Village Patriots as they won 46-27. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Falcons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 299th, while the Patriots are ranked 129th).

Bishop Fenwick has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-10 record this season. As for Tri-Village, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-5 record.

Bishop Fenwick will square off against Carroll at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Carroll has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Tri-Village, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bradford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-Village is facing Bradford at the right time seeing as Bradford is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
