Volleyball Recap: Harding Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. John, Harding was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Richmond Heights Spartans. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Skippers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Harding had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-23.

The victory got Harding back to even at 2-2. As for Richmond Heights, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Harding will be playing in front of their home fans against Grand Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richmond Heights, they will face off against Independence at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Spartans' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
