New Bern Christian Academy waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 55-49 W against the Jacksonville Christian Academy Conquerors . That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-47 back in January.

It was another big night for Jamie Lavoie, who went 11 of 23 to rack up 25 points. Alli Anderson was another key player, putting up eight points.

When it comes to explaining why Jacksonville Christian Academy lost, don't look at Nylah Moore. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 25 points and ten rebounds. Moore is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last 38 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Addison Sweet, who posted eight points along with five boards and five steals.

New Bern Christian Academy pushed their record up to 20-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for Jacksonville Christian Academy, their record now sits at 14-7.
