Football Recap: Ballinger Takes a Loss

Ballinger fell victim to Hamilton and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Bulldogs, falling 61-0. The Bearcats lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 35-13 score last time.

Ballinger has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Hamilton, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ballinger is set to square off against their familiar foe De Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hamilton will take on rival Bangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
