Soccer Recap: Monterey Falls to York Institute in First Game of Season

Monterey had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the York Institute Dragons by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Monterey wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against Stone Memorial on the 7th. As for York Institute, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Bledsoe County on the 10th.
