Softball Recap: Greenfield Comes Up Short

Greenfield lost to Wheaton back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 8-6.

Greenfield's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-10-1. As for Wheaton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Greenfield has already played their next game (against Liberal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Wheaton also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Northeast Vernon County.
