Basketball Recap: Northfield Takes a Loss

Northfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 51-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Adams Central Flying Jets.

Despite the loss, Northfield still got an impressive performance from Tyson Baer, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 16 points. What's more, Baer also posted a 71% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Parker Oswalt was another key player, putting up five points and seven boards.

Northfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Adams Central, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-7.

Northfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-30 defeat against Tri-Central on the 28th. As for Adams Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 74-53 win against Lakewood Park Christian on the 28th.
