Volleyball Recap: Mount Vernon Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Mount Vernon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Annandale Atoms, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Atoms this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Mount Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Annandale, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mount Vernon will square off against rival Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Annandale is set to take on their familiar foe Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
