Basketball Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss

Chesapeake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the North County Knights 73-40. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 268th, while the Knights are ranked 82nd).

Chesapeake's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for North County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Chesapeake will face off against Broadneck at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North County, they will venture away from home to square off against High Point at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
