Gilbert is a perfect 10-0 against Airport since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Indians will square off against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Gilbert will be strutting in after a victory while Airport will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Gilbert got the win against Brookland-Cayce by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-11, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Airport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to North Augusta.

Airport was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10, 25-22.

Gilbert's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Airport, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Gilbert took their victory against Airport in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
