Softball Recap: Westerville Central Comes Up Short

Westerville Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-4 to the Pickerington North Panthers. The Warhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Westerville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Pickerington North, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westerville Central will take on Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pickerington North, they will challenge Brunswick at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Blue Devils have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
