The Mountain View Mountain Lions will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Flowing Wells Caballeros at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain View is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

Mountain View lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Sabino, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's matchup. Mountain View's pitcher stepped up to hand Sabino an 18-0 shutout on Saturday. The Mountain Lions' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Patrick Robbins was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. In other batting news, Oscar Murillo was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. Those RBI were his first of the season.

The victory got Mountain View back to even at 2-2. As for Flowing Wells, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1.
