Softball Recap: Naches Valley Takes a Loss

Naches Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Connell Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Saturday.

Naches Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Connell, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Naches Valley will take on Chelan at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chelan has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.2 runs per game on average), something Naches Valley will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Connell, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Columbia at 11:00 a.m. on April 12.
