Volleyball Recap: Highland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Front Range Christian last Thursday, Highland came back down to earth. The Huskies fell just short of the Lyons Lions by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Highland took Lyons into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-15, 25-10, 15-25, 15-9.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lyons, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.

Highland has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Clear Creek on the 26th. As for Lyons, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Flatirons Academy on the 25th.
