Football Recap: Faith Kearns Key Part of Team Effort in Saints Win

San Dimas had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Hueneme Vikings a 22-0 shutout on Saturday.

San Dimas' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Faith Kearns, who picked up 57 receiving yards and two scores. Kearns also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, making five total tackles and defending one pass.

San Dimas has already played their next contest, a 32-6 defeat against Trabuco Hills on the 9th. As for Hueneme, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 42-6 loss against Shadow Hills on the 9th.
