Baseball Recap: Jackson Day Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Jackson Day was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Mountain Island Charter Raptors by a score of 4-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Mariners in their meetings with the Raptors: they've now lost four in a row.

Jackson Day saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dillion Burch, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Jackson Day's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Mountain Island Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.
