Portland scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats 69-63. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (62), the Panthers still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Portland still got an impressive performance from Keilen Dalton, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Hughes, who posted seven points and eight boards.

Even though they lost, Portland was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Portland is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Franklin-Simpson, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.
