Basketball Recap: Thales Academy Apex Comes Up Short

Thales Academy Apex was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the St. David's Warriors, falling 74-29.

Thales Academy Apex's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Om Shah, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Lehman, who had eight points.

Thales Academy Apex's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. David's, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Thales Academy Apex won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against GRACE Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for St. David's, they will square off against Chatham HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Thunder have now posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
