Basketball Recap: Santa Fe Gets the Win

Santa Fe lost to Fort White back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Santa Fe Raiders managed a 54-50 victory over the Fort White Indians.

Among those leading the charge was Matthew Stevens, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of NyShaun Jenkins, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 10 points and five assists.

Santa Fe now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Fort White, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-5.

Santa Fe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-43 loss against P.K. Yonge on the 6th. As for Fort White, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 63-49 defeat against Williston on the 4th.
