Football Game Preview: Forest Park Bruins vs. Freedom Eagles + How To Watch

Forest Park hasn't had much luck against Freedom recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bruins will venture away from home to face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Forest Park will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.

On Friday, everything came up roses for Forest Park against Potomac Senior as the squad secured a 45-7 win. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Among those leading the charge was Collin Swift, who picked up 79 receiving yards and one touchdown. That's the most receiving yards he has posted since back in August of 2024.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Freedom's offense. They were beaten by Gar-Field 63-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Red Wolves are ranked 92nd).

Forest Park now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Freedom, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
