On Monday, School Without Walls faced Roosevelt in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The School Without Walls Penguins blew past the Roosevelt Roughriders, posting a 44-11 victory. The Penguins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 28 points or more this season.

School Without Walls got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nadia Kallmer out in front who went 5 of 7 en route to 14 points in addition to five boards and five steals. Kallmer has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Eleanor Olesh, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 12 points and three blocks.

School Without Walls' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.5 points per game. As for Roosevelt, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
