Oak Hills extended their winning streak to ten on Monday, bumping their season record up to 11-3 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Sycamore Aviators. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-2 on Monday.

As for Sycamore, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Sycamore's part, Avery Hartig spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up nine Ks. Hartig has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Sycamore saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddy Friedersdorf, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
