For the second straight game, New Lexington will face off against Meadowbrook. The Panthers will welcome the Colts at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. New Lexington is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

New Lexington took a six-run loss the last time they faced off against Meadowbrook, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Colts 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since March 27th.

The team relied heavily on MacKenzie McCoy, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Jorja Burkhart, who got on base in three of her six plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Meadowbrook and nudges their season record down to 11-4. As for New Lexington, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
