Soccer Recap: Corry Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oil City on Friday, Corry came back down to earth. The Beavers fell just short of the North East Grape Pickers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North East this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Saturday.

Corry's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for North East, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Corry is set to challenge their familiar foe Titusville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North East will face off against rival Conneaut Area at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
