Baseball Recap: Middlesex Takes a Loss

Middlesex lost against Lancaster back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Middlesex fell 8-5 to Lancaster.

Bryson Bulgin put in work no matter where he played. He pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bulgin was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Bulgin wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Foster, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Middlesex's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Lancaster, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Middlesex has already played their next game, a 16-0 loss against Rappahannock on the 25th. As for Lancaster, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-2 defeat against Mathews on the 25th.
