Baseball Recap: High Point Baptist Academy Has No Trouble Against Lancaster County Christian

High Point Baptist Academy was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Lancaster County Christian on Thursday. The Eagles blew past the Lions 15-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the match before.

Bradon Howe made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5. He is becoming a predictor of High Point Baptist Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

In other batting news, Blaise Perrone and Landon Richard did most of the damage at the plate: Perrone scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Richard scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Nolan Sandiford was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

High Point Baptist Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

High Point Baptist Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lancaster County Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-5.
